Augustine lost both of his parents so he stays with his grandmother, two sisters and one brother (David – profile here) in the slums of Kassanda town. His grandmother weaves mats and baskets, but she finds it very difficult to get the materials to make her products and so she makes very little despite her efforts. They live below the Ugandan poverty line and most days, the children go without any food. The children, including Augustine, are made to go and beg on the streets just to get enough to buy a little food. Obviously, getting an education is beyond the reach of this family without sponsorship. Your donation could not only provide a daily hot meal to Augustine, but also health care, tuition, a school uniform and some hope.
